Airwaves Media Group: Tournament Platform
During my time at AMG, I had the opportunity to work on the tournament platform, which was one of our main projects. As the UX/UI designer for this project, I faced the challenge of creating a comprehensive and user-friendly platform that could accommodate different types and sizes of tournaments, with varying rewards and games.
To achieve this goal, I conducted research to understand the needs and preferences of our users. Based on this research, I designed a platform that not only met the functional requirements but also enhanced the overall experience for our users.
The Problem
A tournament platform is an essential tool for gamers, ranging from casual hobbyists to professional players. However, many existing platforms can be unnecessarily complicated and challenging to navigate, leading to a steep learning curve and user frustration.
At AMG, we recognized the need for a user-friendly and intuitive tournament platform that could accommodate the diverse preferences and needs of gamers. We approached the challenge by conducting extensive research to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
Designing a tournament platform is difficult, as there are hundreds of different games and tournament styles to consider. Our goal was to create a streamlined, yet comprehensive, platform that would offer an enhanced experience for users. By prioritizing simplicity and ease of use, we aimed to create a platform that would make it easy for gamers to focus on what really matters – playing and winning.
